changes

So because of my dear and precious friends and their making fun of me, I pretty much had to go into hiding with my blog. Which doesn't really matter to you because you can still read it. so...yeah....

Speaking of changes, tomorrow Teresa is getting married. And I am SOOOOOO excited for her. God has, once more, proven Himself faithful and gave Teresa an amazing man of God that loves her so much. Tonight we girls prayed for her and I had a flashback of the past 5 years we've known each other. And I cried, althought I did everything in my power to not to. This means that tomorrow I'll have to borrow someone's waterproof mascara.

My bestie...

is getting married tomorrow!!! Yippee!!! Pics to come!!!!!

January 20, 2009

Today history was made. The United States of America has received its first African-American president. But not necessarily with open arms. To me, it doesn't matter if I voted for him or not, he is now the leader of my country. My job now is to pray for him and support him. I may not agree all his beliefs, however, I do stand behind him. I pray that this nation will support our new president. His next four years will not be easy and he needs the support of our country. Today marks a new era in America and I am excited to see the changes that come.

ESFP

So after reading MeLissa's post about her Myers-Briggs test, I decided to try my hand at it...72 questions later, I discovered I'm ESFP. Here is a description...is it me?

"Where's the party?" ESFPs love people, excitement, telling stories and having fun. The spontaneous, impulsive nature of this type is almost always entertaining. And ESFPs love to entertain -- on stage, at work, and/or at home. Social gatherings are an energy boost to these "people" people.

SPs sometimes think and talk in more of a spider-web approach. Several of my ESFP friends jump from thought to thought in mid-sentence, touching here or there in a manner that's almost incoherent to the listener, but will eventually cover the waterfront by skipping on impulse from one piece of information to another. It's really quite fascinating.

New! ESFPs are attracted to new ideas, new fashions, new gadgets, new ______. Perhaps it's the newness of life that attracts ESFPs to elementary education, especially to preschool and kindergarten.

ESFPs love to talk to people about people. Some of the most colorful storytellers are ESFPs. Their down-to-earth, often homespun wit reflects a mischievous benevolence.

Almost every ESFP loves to talk. Some can be identified by the twenty minute conversation required to ask or answer a simple factual question.

Famous ESFPs:

Saint Mark (Christ's disciple)
Dale Evans
Gracie Allen
Bob Hope
Eva Gabor
Willard Scott
Goldie Hawn
Kyle Petty
Arsenio Hall
Mary Lou Retton
Kathy Lee Gifford
Steve Irwin
Woody Harrelson (Cheers)

Fictional ESFPs:
Tim "The Toolman" Taylor(Home Improvement)
Cody (Step By Step)
